Halloween Shopping 2020: Old Time Pottery

It’s Halloween in July at my favorite home decor store, Old Time Pottery!  Halloween shopping certainly looks a lot different than it did last year, but I decided to mask up and take a peek inside my store (it was surprisingly not busy for a Sunday afternoon outing) while keeping my distance!

I was immediately greeted by walls and bins of pumpkins which made my heart soar! Spooky season is HERE!

As I perused the fall and Halloween decor offerings this year, I did notice there were some items that looked familiar to me – some of them were in stock last Halloween. You can take a stroll down memory lane and compare the collection to last year’s in my 2019 Old Time Pottery Halloween Shopping blog post.

I am not sure how much Halloween shopping I will be doing this year because I’ll be giving birth to my son in about 38 days (which is peak Halloween shopping season and decorating time!).

I’m glad I at least got to squeeze in a visit to OTP!  I hope you enjoy this early shopping trip and that it brings you some Halloween cheer if you’re unable to venture out during this scary time.

Old Time Pottery has some of the best terra cotta pumpkins! I adore this dapper Jack!

As a gnome collector, these brightly colored gnomes made me smile! (you can’t see it but I’m totally geeking out under my mask).

That purple beard is simply majestic! These cuties MUST go home with me (and the can be displayed outside since I’m running out of decorating room inside!)>

I’m loving these quirky little pumpkins…they give me major Tim Burton vibes!

Another favorite find are these creepy critters and their candy bowl craniums!

I hope you enjoyed shopping the shelves of Old Time Pottery with me! They have 43 stores in 11 states – check out where the closest one is to you and go do some Halloweening for yourself (safely of course!).

Want some more Halloween inspiration as you start to plan your decorating scheme for this year? Why not light up your home with a Halloween Tree! I made my first one last year thanks to Old Time Pottery. Check it out!

Stay spooky and safe,

Callie Jo

  1. Thank you for posting these! I am not going out Halloween shopping this year due to the pandemic, and being able to see your visits virtually is a real spirit lifter! I usually just look anyway… I might Hazmat up and go into Lowes, though. Pushing the buttons on all the spooky animatronics there always puts me in cackles. (Yes. I’m THAT person)
