I am a person who is always naturally cold. So I cannot believe that I am actually fed up with this Oklahoma heat. I am ready for cooler days so I can wear layers and fall flannels! We had an unusually cool week in early September which was the perfect time to give my soul what it was yearning for – fall outfits!

I’m dreaming about fall outfits already! I love fun and funky layers – like this shaggy faux fur vest I picked up from Gordman’s several seasons ago. If you want to recreate this look, check out this awesome faux fur vest from Forever21 for just $14.99!
My favorite pair of leopard flats have seen better days. This prompted me on a search for a replacement pair and I was not disappointed in my upgrade! Leopard flats are an absolute must as a closet staple. They are a fun print that can mix well and match with many different outfits. I ended up paying $15.99 for my pair from Amazon.com! I am always a bit wary of ordering shoes from Amazon, but these “Dream Pairs” were true to size, comfortable and the seller had a TON of different colors and patterns to select (I’ll keep that in mind for the future!). It also is a bonus that they’re Prime eligible.
Sometimes you just gotta dress up a graphic tee! I love mixing casual pieces with something a bit more dressier to give outfits some edginess. That was my inspiration for the outfits below! Both of the tee shirts came from Walmart (the Misfits top I snagged in the men’ section and the sugar skull top was last year’s style around Halloween in the junior’s section – keep an eye out for some spooky graphic tees which should be trickling in stores shortly after the “Back to School” season).
