Best of Halloween Head!

Valloween has come and passed, and Halloween seems so far away. But fear not spooky friends, because this time in-between seasons has me feeling nostalgic and looking back on my past blog posts.

I figured now would be a great time to revisit some of my favorite posts, recipes and DIYs to keep the spirit of Halloween alive during this chilly and bleak transition into spring.

Take a look back at my favorite posts with me…

DIY Vintage Halloween Cat Pail

I have always been obsessed with vintage Halloween decor but I have not loved the prices for said antiques when I’d go hunting at flea markets and antique shops. I figured I could make my own vintage inspired decor for a fraction of the cost while at the same time honing my painting skills. This is one craft I’m most proud of that I made last fall!

 Pumpkin Spice Baked Donuts

I still love making baked donuts – and these taste like fall (even better!). They were a hit at the bake sale at my office last fall when I made them – so I want YOU to enjoy them too, and how simple they are to make.

DIY Mesh Dollar Tree Halloween Wreath

I was a wreath making machine last fall! This DIY wreath is made completely from Dollar Tree supplies and sparked so much joy in my home (as Marie Kondo would say…)! It was another successful craft I attempted, which is incredible for me because of my terrible lack of patience (it’s never too late for a New Year’s resolution, right?).

My Haunted House: 2018 Edition

I love to look back at how I decorated my house for Halloween throughout the years. Each year, my collection gets bigger and bigger and yet my closet storage shrinks (I think all my fellow Halloween heads knows what that is like!).

Becoming Ash Williams

I am so proud of the costume I created with my husband for my Halloween party last October! I felt absolutely “groovy”… it’s been one of my better costumes in the past few years in my opinion. I noticed there are not too many female Ash Williams costume inspirations on the internet, so I thought I’d throw my idea/creation into the world to inspire other Evil Dead lovers.

The Story of Jack: the Scarecrow Blowmold

This is a fun story about my not-so-favorite and now favorite piece of Halloween decor. It has been a running joke in the family that I hated this glowing cutie…I feel bad for every telling ol’ Jack he didn’t match the rest of the decor – because it was always that the rest of the decor could not match his awesomeness.

I hope you enjoy revisiting some past Halloween content with me!

Stay spooky,

Callie Jo
