Life Update!

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted here! I could make excuses, but no one likes to hear that.

Life has been an absolute whirlwind – I know it has for all of us all over the world as we work through a global pandemic (I never imagined we’d be living in a science fiction movie…) but I hope everyone is being safe, has plenty of TP,  is staying healthy and taking care of themselves.

Something I’m also taking care of right now is my wonderful, precious BABY BOY due August 21, 2020 (my husband’s birthday!).

This week I am little over 19 weeks along and almost half-way through my pregnancy. Becoming pregnant was a long struggle, and at times I was not sure if it would happen for us. However, with the help of some modern science, our luck changed. Which is why we’re naming our sweet miracle, Felix Everett (Felix means “Lucky” in Latin).

I feel so lucky and happy, even as my little family navigates this unusual time to be pregnant. I cannot wait to meet Felix and immerse him in all of the wonders of life (as he also shows them to me too!) especially how to celebrate HALLOWEEN!

My love of Halloween started as a child. My family and I always decorated, we went out trick-or-treating, we’d carve pumpkins and watch our favorite spooky movies (Hocus Pocus was one of them) and shows together.  These are some of my favorite memories and I am excited to be able to give Felix some equally thrilling and chilling Halloween memories and traditions as he grows!

I just wanted to pop on here and let you know what spooky things have been brewing in my life lately (a baby!!), and that a new little life is coming just in time for Halloween 2020 (brace yourself, the cute baby costumes are coming)!
