Old Time Pottery: Halloween Fireplace Mantel

I was so excited to be asked by Old Time Pottery again to showcase their amazing Halloween decor! I partnered with them this year to create a spooky indoor fireplace mantle scene.

Old Time Pottery is one of my all time favorite home decor stores. They have a huge variety of affordable, cute and one-of-a-kind home wares and accessories and some of the best seasonal items around! They are fully stocked right now for the fall and Halloween season – so be sure to check out the Old Time Pottery near you to start spookifying your life this season.

Peek at baby #2!

Last weekend I celebrated a little HAULoween, thanks to the gift card Old Time Pottery gave me to pick out some exceptionally cute and eerie items for the inside of my home.

I adore these new colorful and whimsical Halloween gnomes the have this year. They range in price from $7.99 – $12.99 and are the perfect Halloween greeters for your home! I myself have a collection of gnomes, so naturally, they were easy to take home with me.

I picked up this awfully cute decorative pumpkin as well. Nothing brings Halloween cheer like a pumpkin with “Happy Halloween” tidings spelled out on it!

Since I am decorating my mantel, a stack of eerie books is a must! I love too how so many of the colors in this years decor selection match.

Looking for a Halloween throw pillow? Old Time Pottery has got you covered! At just $14.99 I could not resist one of these oversized and fluffy pillows. I have a slight addiction to Halloween pillows…some I leave out year-round!

After a fun afternoon of Halloween shopping I came home with everything I needed to decorate my fireplace mantel for the season.

In addition to some super cute figurines, I found some Halloween striped ribbon in their floral department, a banner for the fireplace, a decorative throw and some sparkly Halloween trees.

Voila! The final display! I used two pieces from last years front porch display I purchased at Old Time Pottery as well (the metal Jack-o-lantern lantern and the wooden “Trick or Treat” sign).

Nothing like a throw and cozy pillow to welcome the coziest season of all! (Or a throw to cover your head during the scary parts of the horror movies!).

I love how all the color came together seamlessly in this whimsical display of Halloween cheer! There’s something simply eye catching when there’s a splash of purple to be found!

Gnome witchy-poo and candy corn hat bat man are just waiting for their close up and for some spooky treats!

On the other side of the mantel I placed our wise looking mummy gnome – he seemed like a good guardian of the “curses, potions and brews.”

I just love how simple and cute this year’s mantel display turned out thanks to Old Time Pottery! I am looking forward to soaking it all in this season. Have you decorated yet?! It’s never too early for a splash of Halloween!

Stay spooky,

Callie Jo

  1. Charming Halloween mantel! I personally wait until September 1st each year to decorate for the season of Fall / Halloween. My favorite time of the year. I have an annual tradition of picking out a few things at Michaels crafts and then stepping into Spirit Halloween at the start of this month as well.
